eWomen Network turns 23! Let’s take a look at some of the highlights from the last 23 years:

Our first ICON, 2001

The eWomenNetwork ICON experience has come a long way since its inception in 2001. The first ICON event took place at the historic Adolphus Hotel in downtown Dallas with an audience of about 75 people. Kym sat at the back of the room on the sound board as Sandra took the stage and welcomed several speakers to the stage for the very first time. Who knew that history was being made?

Jean Smart wins the Philanthropic Advocate of the Year Femtor Award, 2016

Somewhere between an Emmy for Frasier and two Emmys for Hacks, Jean Smart accepted an even bigger award, a Femtor Philanthropic Advocate of the Year Award for her work with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Click here to watch her powerful speech on the eWomenNetwork ICON stage.

The Launch of PLATINUM, 2013

eWomenNetwork has been building its global community since 2001, but it wasn’t until 2013 that we upped the anti and created our exclusive PLATINUM community. A favorite of eWN Members, PLATINUM Members have exclusive access to the annual summit at a luxury resort, never pay monthly dues, and receive complimentary PLATINUM registration to in-person Strategic Business Introduction events. The Launch of Celebrity Science, 2016

Kym Yancey has been in the branding business for decades, but it wasn’t until 2016 that the in-house branding division of eWomenNetwork, Celebrity Science, was officially launched. Since then, eWN has seen countless photoshoots, video shoots, website builds, and much, much more. eWomenNetwork even has a fully equipped studio in our corporate headquarters.

Briana Joins the Team, 2018

There’s the family you’re born into and then there’s the family you choose. Briana was born into the Yancey family, but she chose to make eWN work-family official in 2018 after years of supporting the family business as a contractor. Briana began as the Director of Digital Marketing and is now Creative Director and Co-Producer of Celebrity Science in addition to the mind behind our social media presence and Social Advantage online community.

eWN Launches in Canada, 2003

eWomenNetwork may have started in 2000 at a La Madeline in Plano, TX, but by 2003 we went international by crossing the boarder to beautiful Canada! Since then, our Canadian eWN Sisterhood has been a talented, vital, and formidable force in eWomenNetwork.

ICON Speakers

Our annual ICON experience has evolved over the years, but one thing that’s remained the same is the caliber of truly phenomenal speakers. Some of the biggest names in business and entertainment have graced the ICON stage for the past 23 years and we look forward to another 23! Past speakers include: Sara Blakely, Salidad O’Brian, Matthew Knowles, Pat Smith, Stedman Graham, Lisa Nichols, and more!

Record Highs in the eWN Community

Our Managing Directors are the heart of our community connecting 500,000 women through 113 chapters across the globe. Our Managing Director Program saw record growth in 2018 and the community as whole saw record active chapters in 2019.

Success Reimagined is launched, 2020

Entrepreneurs know better than anybody how many industries had to make a complete and total shift when we were faced with a global pandemic in 2020. Countless industries were upended, perhaps no industry more so than the live event industry. With our 2020 ICON experience cancelled, we had to shift to serve our members in a big way, which is why we launched Success Reimagined. With top notch production quality and A+ swag boxes, Success Reimagined changed the way we all saw virtual events, which is why it’s still going strong. Success Reimagined 4.0 is coming coon January 2023!
