eWomenNetwork was founded off of the belief that women CAN have it all.  Career and family does not have to be a one over the other decision.  Even our very own CEO, Sandra Yancey, started eWomenNetwork 18 years ago with a 10 year old and a 5 year old.  Tons of women have been able to rock mom-preneur life including Alli Webb of DryBar, Kendra Scott, J.K. Rowling, Paula Deen, Caroline Freedman & Lauren McCollough of NURTURME, Marie Moody of Stella & Chewy’s, and the list goes on.  If these rock star moms can juggle little ones AND launching a company, so can you.

Not to mention, now technology and smartphones are making it easier than EVER to get your mom-preneur on.

This week, we asked a few of our favorite mom-preneur’s about their top hack’s to handling it all.  Whether you’re a mom or not, these handy hacks will undoubtedly make life more organized and efficient.

Grocery Shopping without the Stopping

AmazonFresh  is a staple for mom-preneurs, why?  The service costs $14.99 a month which allows you unlimited grocery deliveries to your home.  For busy mom-preneurs this is a game-changer because it makes maximizing your time way easier, as well as eating healthier more feasible for you and your family. On AmazonFresh, you can buy pretty much anything you would find at your local grocery store. You name it — fruits, vegetables, canned goods, condiments, packaged snacks, raw meat – and the list goes on.

Plus, since Amazon acquired Whole Foods in 2017, you’ll have access to approximately 1,000 Whole Foods products as well. Once you’ve stocked your online cart with the groceries you need, the site will prompt you to reserve a delivery time.

You can choose same-day or next-day delivery based on what works with your schedule.  For a busy mom-preneur time is EVERYTHING and this hack saves hours in grocery store runs.

 Programmable Slow Cooker

While we are on the topic of food, let’s talk programmable slow cookers.  That’s right, even slow cookers are getting techy-with-it nowadays.

The classic slow cooker was ALREADY a mom-preneur’s holy grail, but now they are EVEN BETTER.  This techy programmable slow cooker has a digital countdown control that lets you program cook times anywhere from 30 minutes up to 20 hours and then shifts to Warm setting automatically once cook time completes so that you don’t have to think about it and dinner is ready to go when you are.

Automation is the name of the game for busy women and this timer function makes prepping meals completely brainless.

 Use Location-Based Reminder Apps

Apps, like Checkmark, chirp out an alert when you’re near a designated location, reminding you to do something. For example, you can set a reminder that alerts you the next time you’re in Target to buy that poster board for that one project, or the next time you’re near a post office to buy stamps.  It's like having a sidekick with you at all times to make sure you remember that one thing you always forget.

Write That Down

Don’t store it all in your memory.  That’s a recipe for disaster.  Busy moms who juggle career and kiddo’s swear by this momAgenda, with their unique week-at-a-view format with space for mom and up to four children.

This trendy planner makes it easier than ever to keep track of your work obligations as well as organize your kids school, sports, and activities schedule all in one place.

Do The Rumba…. I Mean Roomba

This one is my personal life hack and total game changer.  I’m a dog mom, so regardless of whether your babies are furry or not, the Roomba vacuums the floor while you take care of everything else.  They are even so techy now that you can name your Roomba and connect it to Alexa and simply have Alexa to tell it to start cleaning.  I love any hack that completely takes care of a chore and this is a HUGE time saver in my house.  I absolutely love it.
